Screen Printing

Screen printing involves creating a stencil, or “screen”, and then using that stencil to apply layers of ink onto the printing surface. Each color is applied using a different stencil, one at a time, to achieve the final design. The ink is applied thicker than with digital direct printing or dye sublimation and a high level of vibrancy is achieved, even on dark-colored substrates. This printing method is cost-effective and well-suited for large orders. Larger minimum orders generally exist on screen printed items because of the extra materials and labor time associated with this printing method.
