Dye Sublimation
Dye Sublimation is the process of transferring dye to fabrics, metals, plastics or other substrates using heat. Designs are first printed onto transfer paper, and the paper is then placed on top of the substrate to be printed on. Using a heat press, heat is applied which turns the dye into a gas, which then penetrates into the substrate and becomes permanent. Sublimation is a unique process that allows for vibrant, full-color print and is well-suited for small orders.
